Bat monitoring across the Leckford Estate has been coordinated by Carole and George Baber. To date, five bat transects have been completed at the Farm, Golf Course, Fishery Lakes/River Test, Longstock House and Water Gardens. Reptile surveys were undertaken across four sites on the Leckford Estate in 2025: the Fishery Lakes, Golf Course, Farm and Fairview Bank. A total of 145 refugia were deployed, and 27 surveys were completed between March and September. Surveys recorded three reptile species: slow worm, common lizard and grass snake.
